- Will be held on March 16 - 20, at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort
in Savannah, GA.
- John Lovelace, will be retiring as
CTOTF Chairman after
serving tirelessly for 16 years.
- General Session will be addressing "Knowledge
Management".
- Generic Issues Roundtable to have power generation industry insurance expert panel Q&A.
- Legacy Units Roundtable will be discussing "Rotor Life"
(TIL
1575, F7-Dovetail Wear, etc.).
- LM6000 Roundtable agenda includes presentations by GE, Hoerbiger
Services, Cormetech, and a User presentation by Lafayette Utilities on
Service Bulletin 220, IGB Spline Wear & other Operating Issues.
- Siemens Roundtable to have User experiences presentation on "Emerson
Controls on a W251."
- FT-8 Roundtable to host P&W PS Q&A and will be
dedicating its PM session to User presentations on Plant Voltage Control
& Unit Upgrades along with O&M discussion topics focusing on Service
Bulletins, Collector Box Alignments, Maintenance Management and more.

Alstom Roundtable to have APS presentation on Generator Failure
(Drive-End ... Phase-Grnd & Phase-Phase Failure).

at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort, Savannah, GA.

CTOTF Turbine Users Forum:
- Will be held on September 14 - 19, at the Hilton El
Conquistador in Tuscon, AZ.

John Lovelace forwarded an impressive disconnect under load. He writes
that: "This is supposed to be a real video taken at the SCE Lugo substation.
It's 500,000 volts released when they had to disconnect under load to fix
