Samantha has been involved in the power industry for 13 years. She is currently the operations and maintenance supervisor of five LM6000 peaking sites and 25 photovoltaic solar sites, located in Southern California. Hiring on with Edison in 2005, she participated in the start-up and commissioning of Edison's new 1,056 Combined cycle facility, Mt. View.

She spent ten years as a control operator at the Mt. View Combined Cycle facility, where she managed day-to-day operations of four GE 7FA Combustion Turbines, four Foster Wheeler Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and two GE D-11 Steam Turbines.

Samantha has been serving the CTOTF™’s since the fall of 2015 as the 2nd Vice Chair for the O&M and Business Practices Roundtable. In Spring 2017 she became the Vice-Chair of the O&:M and Business Practices Roundtable.

Position Objective:  To provide incremental business value to the CTOTF™ membership by facilitating communications, information, and discussion among CTOTF™ members, equipment manufacturers, and service providers for the O&M and Business Practices Roundtable and to assist the O&M and Business Practices Roundtable Chair in planning and conducting the O&M and Business Practices Roundtable.

This Roundtable is provided for Member Users, to exchange information towards the resolution of problems, issues and concerns, relevant to a plant's Operations, Maintenance and Business Practices.

Discussion topics for this Roundtable include: Operations Practices, Maintenance Practices, Outage Management, Plant Configurations, Equipment and Personnel Safety, Power and Strategic Planning, and Service Contracts.
