Michael A.K.A "Mike" works for JEA as the Combustion Turbine Director of 3 generating facilities, Brandy Branch (a 2 X 1 combined cycle with 2 GE 7FA’s and a D11 steam turbine), Kennedy Station (2 simple cycle GE 7FA’s), and Greenland Energy Center (2 simple cycle GE 7FA’s).

He has been over the CT group for 1 year, and earned a Six Sigma Black Belt in 2010. Prior to his most recent role, Mike has been working in the power industry for over 34 years on the Operations and Maintenance sides of the coal fired industry, both pulverized and circulating fluidized bed plant construction and start-up and operation.

Mike assumed the duties and responsibilities as the CTOTF™’s Co-Vice Chair for the Combined Cycle Roundtable in the fall of 2015.

Position Objective:  To provide incremental business value to the CTOTF™ membership by facilitating communications, information, and discussion among CTOTF™ members, equipment manufacturers, and service providers for the Combined Cycle Roundtable and to assist the Combined Cycle Roundtable Chair in planning and conducting the Combined Cycle Roundtable.

This Roundtable is provided for Member Users, to exchange information towards the resolution of problems, issues and concerns, affecting the electric power generation industry.

Discussion topics for this Roundtable include: Human Resources, Fuels and Transportation, Marketing, Insurance, Leadership and Management, Value Assessment, Regulatory Interface(s) and Research and Development.
