Joginder Singh Khalsa is the Plant Engineer for IHI Power Service Corporation’s West Deptford Energy Station in West Deptford, New Jersey. The plant is a 754 MW 2x1 Greenfield Project- Siemens SGT6-5000F & Alstom STG (Commercial Nov 2014). Joginder is also responsible for budgeting, forecasting and regulatory programs. His background includes knowledge of Environmental & NERC compliance with implementation of regulatory policies having worked closely with local, State and Federal agencies.

Prior positions include the Thermal Energy Development Partnership in Tracy, CA, and American Electric Power in Columbus, OH, among others. Joginder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Bombay, a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alaska.

Joginder previously served as the CTOTF™’s 501 Frame Vice Chair, and in the Spring of 2019 accepted the position of the Generator/EI&C RT Chair.

Position Objective: To provide incremental business value to the CTOTF™ membership by facilitating communications, information and discussion among CTOTF™ members, equipment manufacturers, and service providers for the HV-Electrical Equipment Roundtable.

This Roundtable is provided for Member Users, to exchange information towards resolving problems, issues and concerns, pertaining to a combustion or steam turbine electric power generating facility's High Voltage Electrical Equipment.

Discussion topics for this Roundtable include: Transformers and Switches, Relays and Protection, Power Distribution, Breakers and Testing of these systems.
