Doug has been in the power industry since 2000. He is responsible for the mechanical maintenance at the combined cycle facility at Sumas. In addition, he assists site management in vendor selection, budget forecasts, and provides project management oversight for the site projects.

In addition to this, Doug is also a qualified outside and control room operator for the site.

His background also includes four years in the United States Marine Corps as a Jet Engine Mechanic/Plane Captain.

Doug assumed the duties and responsibilities as the CTOTF™’s Co-Vice Chair for the Combined Cycle Roundtable in the spring of 2015.

Position Objective:  To provide incremental business value to the CTOTF™ membership by facilitating communications, information, and discussion among CTOTF™ members, equipment manufacturers, and service providers for the Combined Cycle Roundtable and to assist the Combined Cycle Roundtable Chair in planning and conducting the Combined Cycle Roundtable.

This Roundtable is provided for Member Users, to exchange information regarding issues and concerns, affecting Steam System Components typically associated with Combined Cycle plants. Discussion topics for this Roundtable include: Steam Turbines, Auxiliaries, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Boilers, Chemistry, Cooling Towers and Balance of Plant Systems.
