Greg earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky in 1999. He began work at Kentucky Utilities in the fall of 2002 as a controls engineer for coal / gas fired generating units.

Since 2008, he’s been the Maintenance / Production Supervisor for the simple cycle gas turbine facility at the EW Brown Generating Station in Harrodsburg, KY. The plant consists of two Alstom GT24 units and five Alstom 11N2 units.

Greg has been a member of the CTOTF™ since 2008, and in the fall of 2013 assumed the duties and responsibilities of the vice chair for the Alstom Roundtable.
Position Objective:  To provide incremental business value to the CTOTF™ membership by facilitating communications, information, and discussion among CTOTF™ members, equipment manufacturers, and service providers for the Alstom fleet of combustion turbines and to assist the Alstom Roundtable Chair in planning and conducting the Alstom Roundtable.

This Roundtable is provided for Member Users, to exchange information towards resolving problems, issues and concerns, pertaining to the Alstom (8B, 8C, 11D, 11N, 11N1, 11NM, 11N2, and 24s) fleet of combustion turbines.

Discussion topics for this Roundtable include: Centerline Equipment and Components, Ancillary Systems, Inlets, Exhausts, Controls and Protection, Inlet Air Conditioning and Performance Testing.
