Dennis has filled the roles of, Superintendent Contract Operations, Gas Turbine O&M Management Consultant and Plant Manager to name a few.

He began his career in the power industry in 1978 at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base with Burns & Roe Services providing power and water to the naval station.

With 35 plus years of experience in management, construction, start-up, operations and maintenance in Cogeneration, Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle, Independent Power Plants and Utility power plants utilizing various technologies and fuels such as CFB both BioMass and Coal, Heavy Industrial combustion turbines of both GE and Siemens/Westinghouse, Aero Derivative GE LM2500, 5000, 6000PA, PB, PC and Pratt Whitney FT8.

He has completed more than ten Greenfield start-ups with progression to supervision and managerial positions. He also has experience in negotiating contracts for Third Party O&M, equipment, services and component repair, spare replacement parts and facility capital improvements.

In addition he has managed offices and support personnell which included engineers, operations and maintenance, purchasing, warehousing, and accounts payable. Dennis has served as an Owners' Representative in equipment manufacturer’s negotiations, EPC contract execution, major maintenance services and repair oversight. He has also served on the Board of the Electric Power group as well as participated in various users groups for varying technologies and equipment. He is currently responsible for developing plant budgets and contract required reports.

Dennis accepted the duties and responsibilities of the Chair for the Aero Derivatives GE Aero (LM Class) Roundtable in the fall of 2013.

Position Objective:To provide incremental business value to the CTOTF™ membership by facilitating communications, information, and discussion among CTOTF™ members, equipment manufacturers, and service providers for the GE Aero LM Classes of combustion turbines and to assist the Aero Derivatives Roundtable Sr. Chair in planning and conducting the Aero Derivatives Roundtables.

This Roundtable is provided for Member Users, to exchange information towards resolving problems, issues and concerns, pertaining to the GE Aero LM Classes of combustion turbines.

Discussion topics for this Roundtable include: Centerline Equipment and Components, Ancillary Equipmet, Inlets, Exhausts, Controls and Protection, Inlet Air Conditioning and Performance Testing of these systems.
