Michael works for JEA as the Combustion Turbine Director of 3 generating facilities, Brandy Branch (a 2 x 1 combined cycle with 2 GE 7FA's and a D11 steam turbine), Kennedy Station (2 simple cycle GE 7FA's), and Greenland Energy Center (2 simple cycle GE 7FA's).
He has been over the CT group for 1 year, and earned a Six Sigma Black Belt in 2010.
Prior to his most recent role, Mike has been working in the power industry for over 34 years on the Operations and Maintenance sides of the coal fired industry, both pulverized and circulating fluidized bed plant construction and start-up and operation.
Mike served as the CTOTF's Combined Cycle Roundtable Co-Chair in the Fall of 2015. He assumed the duties of the Power Systems Executive Vice Chair in Fall of 2017.
Position Objective: To provide leadership and strategic direction by creating and administering organizational and roundtable support programs that promote growth and stability to the CTOTF™ organization and provide incremental value to the User community.

|The Power Systems' Roundtables, comprised of Industry Issues, O&M and Business Practices, Combined Cycle, Gen-EI&C and Regulatory & Compliance, are provided for CTOTF™Member Users, to exchange information towards resolving problems, issues and concerns, pertaining to those components, systems and processes necessary towards the operation of a combustion turbine electric power generating plant.|
